| So, now I'm officially a Cardiac ICU nurse. Feels pretty darn good. What also felt pretty darn good was finally earning a paycheck. LOL. Anyway, definitely a lot to learn. The computer system they use is definitely not my favorite thing, but I guess I'll get used to it. Went to see the Bourne Ultimatum finally. Awesome movie. It was pretty funny, being new around here, I, of course didn't have any friends to go with and my sister-in-law couldn't exactly bring the kids, so, I went by myself. I picked an early matinee and there were like 4 other people at the movie, all of us by ourselves. I bought one of those huge cokes and a box of candy and sat there and thoroughly enjoyed myself. Nothing like an international spy movie to make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside. | | |
| Took a different job. The one in Trenton was totally in the 'hood, no wait, that's too nice of a name for it. Anyway, wasn't my style. So, now I work at a beautiful catholic hospital that sits in a tranquil meadow, next to a park where among other things you can rent kayaks! Yeah. Definitely my style. The sweet thing is, I will make more money there and I won't have to worry about being mugged, leered at, or witnessing crime on my way to my car it's totally a win-win situation. LOL. This was my favorite hospital from the start, so praise the Lord for giving me a job there. Start date August 6. So, what are my plans until then? Sleep in, eat good food, go to the beach, go kayaking, read some novels, watch movies, hang out with my family, fun, fun, fun. Good times. Oh yeah, chopped a lot of hair off too. Apparently, now that I'm moving up in my 20's my hair has decided to become straight/wavy. So, I say, embrace change! Next on my list, make friends. Kind of weird not having any here. | | |

I have a job and a home! Oh hurrah! I'm going to be renting a room in this girl's house and saving a ton of money, always a good thing. Which means I'll have the extra cash I need to explore the east coast, go to broadway shows, and save for another awesome international trip. It's all about priorities people. The unfortunate thing is that there isn't room for my furniture so I'm leaving it for the next year with my roommate (soon to be ex-roommate), kind of a strange feeling. I'm going to be an ICU nurse at a hospital in Trenton, NJ. Never thought I'd work in New Jersey that's for sure. I'm living on the Pennslyvania side of the Deleware though, so like good ol' George Washington, I'll have to cross in order to go into battle.

I'm moving! Yes, I'm hitting the road. I have no job and have no home of my own, but I'm goin'. LOL. I'm moving to Yardley, PA which is between Philadelphia and Trenton, NJ. If you think of it pray that I get the job I want! LOL. I applied to work in about 8 different places and interviewed at only 1. We'll see how it goes. I found the apartment of my dreams, but unfortunately it cost the amount that an apartment of your dreams usually costs....so, I'll definitely have to wait for that perfect job! LOL. My good ol' big brother is letting me stay with him though as long as I need to. Fabulous. Anyway, just wanted to keep you all posted on what's going on.
| Guess I'm not going to Kansas after all...sigh. Things just don't work out like you plan them. Life is stressful and weird right now. | | |
